2020 Marin Blanc de Noir
A love song to Marin — a blend of two organically-grown vineyards, Kendric and Corda. Offers savory complexity alongside creamy red and orange fruit characters. Flavors linger on the palate and entice the next sip until the glass is empty. Very limited.
Vineyards: Growing grapes in Marin is not for the faint of heart. Marginal (cold) weather, disease, shallow soil, and lack of water all work against viticulture here. We are proud to source from Marin.
Winemaking: Whole-cluster pressed, clean juice, barrel-fermented with native yeast at 60–70°F for three weeks. Sediment held in barrel for 12 months without added sulfur, allowing natural malolactic to complete. Traditional method in bottle, 17 months on yeast, light 1 g/L dosage. Cork and cage closure.
Variety: 100% Pinot Noir · Vintage: 2020 · Kendric + Corda, Marin County · 12% ABV · 1,764 bottles
